The Pinot Grigio ramato is a 'non white, white wine', where ramato would translate to coppery, due to its distinctive colour. Vinified following the local traditional processes, macerating on the skins for a few hours which gives it an even more intense shade of colour, becoming almost amber.

This style of vinification allows the wine to acquire tannins and aromas that are only contained in the skins, making it a wine of great depth but with delicate and elegant aromas. It really seems to be smelling roses.
