La Morella
The Morella winery is located in Carezzano, a small town on the hills of Tortona on the border between Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy.
Everything started thanks to the love of Enio Ferretti for his land and his territory, strengthened by his love of nature. Enio utilizes exclusively biological methods in the cultivation of his grapes, among which the Timorasso, the native variety most ancient and representative of the area.
Enio dedicates great care to the vineyard, placing it always at the center of his project. All the wines from La Morella are the result of a long and thoughtful work on the native grape varieties of this land, a journey that starts in the vineyard and only marginally continues in the cellar.
In the cellar Enio tends to do as little as he can: zero sulfites and not messing around with the musts too much. The wine is given the time it needs to evolve, with patience, trying to not intervene or worry too much.
