Lunatica translates to lunatic, which isn’t far off the mark here, this wine is pretty nuts.

Obtained from an extremely long 6 months maceration on the skins of Vermentino grapes, you might expect the most intense orange color and yet, the maceration is so long that the skins tend to reabsorb the color giving us a very clear wine.

The depth and complexity is all still there however, you get notes of apricot marmalade, citrus zests and mediterranean herbs. All of which is balanced by the minerality that is the trademark of all of Torchio’s wines. Long and persistent, a little gem.
