Fongoli
Fongoli was founded by Decio Fongoli in the early 1900s, who acquired a property among the hills of Montefalco in Umbria.
Since 1999, the company has been managed by his great-grandson Angelo, who continues the original approach of aging the wine in large oak barrels, bottling strictly within the company, and fermenting with native yeasts from self-produced grapes.
For many years now, all the vineyards have been under organic management, completely avoiding the use of chemicals to minimize environmental impact.
Fongoli is a company and a family rich in traditions and overwhelming passion, continuing to produce wines in a traditional and sustainable manner, representing the history of an entire region.
